The Code for Sustainable Homes was introduced in May 2008 and covers nine areas of compliance from Energy Efficiency to Materials and Household Waste Management.

UK Accreditation offer a "Turn Key" Code for Sustainable Homes assessment and certification service, having already achieved final certification for several of our clients we understand fully the of compliance and can advise our clients on which credits are the most cost effective and have the highest weighting. We ensure that our clients are kept up to date with legislation and provide information and checklist to ensure a smooth transfer of data.

The Code for Sustainable Homes assessments are broken down into three key areas:

1. Pre-Assessment, this is often the most overlooked yet the most important stage of the assessment, we can outline the credits required and discuss at planning stage any changes that may need implementing to ensure compliance, this is the most cost effective way to make any changes as once the project is under way changes can be very costly.
