BREEAM Pre-assessment (scheme)

The BREEAM process incorporates a pre-assessment estimator tool which allows for an initial study to be undertaken for the building development at the very start of the project. This is a particularly useful process as it highlights potential credits which can be achieved and also calculates the targeted BREEAM score for the project.
Many clients feel that this estimator is vital to the overall project as it enables BREEAM activities to be highlighted at an early stage and subsequent planning can be developed accordingly. Also the estimator is often a requirement from Planning Departments to ensure that a new building is going to incorporate a degree of sustainable measures.
The process involves one consultation meeting with the project team and from this consultation a report is developed which includes comments on each credit. The BREEAM Assessor will advise on the likelihood of compliance for each credit and also the measures needed to ensure that the credit requirements are met.
The report will conclude with the likely BREEAM score that can be achieved.
The Pre-Assessment Estimator can be applied to:
- -- BREEAM For Education.
- -- BREEAM For Higher Education.
- BREEAM For Offices.
- BREEAM For Retail.
- BREEAM For Healthcare.
- BREEAM For Prisons.
- BREEAM For Courts.
- BREEAM For Bespoke Units.
- BREEAM For Other Buildings
